Breathtaking since 1956
The Golf-Club Lindau-Bad Schachen e.V. was founded on 3 October 1954. The well-known golf course architect Dr. Bernhard von Limburger was commissioned to build 9 holes. He was impressed by the beauty of the terrain around "Schönbühl Castle" north of the island town of Lindau on Lake Constance. The golf course was ceremoniously inaugurated in the spring of 1956.
